Home to Mills College at Northeastern University
Mills College has merged with Northeastern University to form the nation’s first bicoastal university for undergraduate and graduate education and research.
Mills College at Northeastern is at the academic center of our 135-acre Oakland campus. The university offers degrees from the undergraduate through the doctoral level while carrying forward Mills’ focus on gender equity and social justice. Together they provide new opportunities for global experience and personalized learning.
First-year students
Global programs for students
First-year students can apply to Northeastern’s yearlong Global Scholars program to study in Oakland, California and London, England, both part of Northeastern’s global university system. During your second year and beyond, you’ll study on Northeastern’s Boston campus (or you might continue to explore global program offerings).
