Disability Access Services
Our Disability Access Services Office (DAS) provides advising, advocacy, and all necessary accommodations to help students with various abilities thrive at Northeastern. Available services include, but are not limited to:
- Text-to-speech screen readers
- Student note takers
- Document conversion to Braille, e-books, and audio files
- Extra time on exams or assignments
- Distraction-free exam rooms
- Use of a computer during exams or lectures
- Accommodations for service animals and emotional support animals

Student Support Services CARE Team
Our CARE Team advocates on behalf of students facing challenges that impact their academic progress and overall wellbeing. We collaborate with campus partners to secure resources and referrals tailored to empower each student to achieve their full potential. Support services include, but are not limited to:
- Facilitating communication with faculty and other staff
- Coordinating support with other campus areas
- Navigating leaves or withdrawal processes
- Exploring various on-campus and off-campus resources
- Promoting resiliency and self-advocacy
