Vice President of Campus Administration and Strategic Initiatives

About

Renée Jadushlever is vice president of campus administration and strategic initiatives at Northeastern University on the Oakland campus. She provides administrative leadership for the operations of the campus, collaborating with the university’s leadership in Boston to identify and develop meaningful connections. Working closely with external affairs, she addresses communication needs to disseminate information to varied stakeholder groups. She collaborates with elected officials and their staffs and with a wide range of community organizations in Oakland, also connecting at the city, state, and federal levels of government to raise the visibility of the university.

In addition, she works with the university’s facilities and real estate teams on a long-term vision and plan for developing the Oakland campus. She has worked on the Oakland campus for 33 years and, prior to the merger with Northeastern University, served in a variety of critical leadership and administrative roles at Mills College, including as chief of staff to two presidents.

Jadushlever received her MLS in library science, with a concentration in rare books administration, from Columbia University. She has edited two scholarly journals as editor-in-chief for Printing History, the journal of the American Printing History Association, and as the managing editor of Phaedrus: An International Journal of Children’s Literature Research. Additionally, she has curated national and international exhibitions, including the Centennial Celebration Exhibition of the Grolier Club (NY).
