College events

Every academic year includes universitywide events that celebrate traditional milestones such as new student orientation, family and friends weekend, and commencement. We welcome all Northeastern students and families to celebrate with us as we mark these special occasions throughout the year.

Fall Orientation 2024

We look forward to welcoming a new class of Huskies to our beautiful Oakland campus! Move-in and Orientation are coming up soon:

Move-In Days: Thursday, August 29–Friday, August 30
Student Orientation: Saturday, August 31–Tuesday, September 3
Weeks of Welcome: Wednesday, September 4–Sunday, September 15

Family and Friends Weekend 2024

Save the dates for our annual Family and Friends Weekend! You’ll get to spend time with your student as they settle into their new educational journey, connect with other Huskies and their families, and experience the Oakland campus and community.
